Bonsoir tout le monde! I (finally) made it to France. After all kinds of fun mixups and close calls, I am safely at the hotel in Rouen with the rest of my group and feeling good (and exhausted).Things I've learned so far:
My last name is not spelled with a "y."
Flight attendants scare me.
I really like Irish accents.
I really can't understand Irish accents.
You should always get to the airport an entire day early.
I can't sleep on planes.
Day 1, and I already miss home.
But, I'm really excited for my European journey now that I'm here. There are so many places I'm going to go and so many things I'm going to do. This is a great group of people too. I'm a really lucky girl!
Also, there's a 6 hour time difference, so I'm about to get ready for dinner now, when I feel like it's 1 in the afternoon. Weird. Well, I hope there's chocolate.
